Hello, found this on the net, it's from a french forum, as you can see the electric window mechanism is situated on the center of the door just behind the window slit, and not between the door handle and the front end of the door, fixed to the three holes you see in picture. Never seen any other like this. It's a 1983 car, mine is from 1981. Do you know if it's a original fiat fitting?

this is exactly the same system on ritmo with electric windows (same engine, same cable,) I think it must be compatible, the 124 fiat europa also buttons and even the Ritmo / Strada

well infact I think fiat shifted to the mechanism in picture in summer 1982 to ease fitting. I took off mine which is the old system and it's damn difficult and unconfortable.
