My 131 Supermirafiori came with only a drivers side door mirror. Last week I picked up this off ebay:

Before fitting the car's near side looked like this:

Firstly I removed the inner trim and then the outer one which was screwed on:

( Sorry for the lack of focus  Roll Eyes )

I envisaged that the same screws would hold the mirror, but I was wrong Embarrassed After a walk to the nearby engineering/tool supplier I had these:

( Sorry for the dark photo this time - for some reason the flash didn't fire  Roll Eyes )

After this fitting was easy and now the near side looks like this:

Much better with a pair of ears rather than just one Wink

It's not for sale at the moment but if I decide to let it go at some point I will let you know.

It is a project car that needs work though.

131racings car is advertised for ?2000 on

www.classicarsforsale.co.uk

I think this is a good price. Having seen the rusty green Supermirafiori on ebay which had done about twice the mileage of mine and sold for ?1000 if I was selling mine I would want at least that for it......

My silver super has a pair of internally adjustable mirrors which I think were originally fitted to series 3 supers. The blue car is a series 2 super so I decided to fit a non adjustable mirror which is what I think the series 2 cars had.

After being used to driving cars with two door mirrors I really missed the passenger side mirror, particularly when reversing or pulling out of tight spots Wink
