I want to change my engine 2000 tc, and I have a question: what is the easiest? Remove the gearbox and remove the engine from above, or leave everything and come out from below with the triangles, direction ... thanks you! I find this easier particularly when you come to put it back in as you can mate the gearbox to the engine outside the car.

It depends what equipment you have in the garage... dropping it down is better when you can lift the car and lifting the engine is better when you cannot lift the whole car ... so any method is equally good only requires different equipment ... ;D Miro I am not sure this had s been very helpful ??? I agree that taking the whole powertrain at the same time is normally preferable as it makes the installation/de-installation of gearbox much easier...
