Did anyone else notice this one pop up on Subito, Mobile & Autoscout on Saturday morning?

http://www.autoscout24.de/DetailsTat2.aspx?id=219271447&cd=634804806910000000

?5000 was the first asking price but today on two sites, the price is now ?20k!!  Shocked

I can't see the angle myself. Is it to test the water to see what interest there is...and price it again after the initial flurry or did the seller really not know the values? In any event it's got to be worth ?8/9000 if the mileage and condition are genuine.

The price was NEVER 5000e although it looked like at the first look. When you translated the text there stood that the price was to discuss  (later with a serious buyer).
More info, the car is resprayed completely.

Believe me, for 5 or even 8K I was there already to pick it up, when the car is as good as it looks it goes  through the 10K mark, the money he is asking now(18K on the phone) is too much the next 5 years.

I did translate the text and thought there was some price discussion implied but it's a bit naughty to put ?5k so prominently in the advert. He'll be stuck with it for some time if he insists on ?18k...! Roll Eyes

That I agree with you, you see this a lot on Autoscout when the car is advertised for 1000e, in the text you also see the difference then.

I am quite sure this car was also adverted the same way(for 5K) in an italian car magazine

I got told 5K was to bring the interest in yesterday morning and 17000e asking price plus make me an offer. Also said only 20 Volumetrico 2dr's produced. If only a part chop against EUL could be done! Seat seams had been sorted aswell as some rust issues under the carpet. Looks a stunning car though.

Seat split repairs, full paint job and rust - Doesn't sound a 40,000kms car to me. Huh

My white 131 had done 41000kms when I sold it and had none of these issues.

Well it?s would not be the first 131 with low KM?s to get a repaint and the seat seams renewed, I?d say.

I hope the repaint was done right and the rust not iced with isopon under that nice new coat of paint.

My as new white Super is factory fresh, and leave?s you spellbound  Shocked it?s like walking into a Fiat dealer back in the day. It?s so rare to find a 131 like this now, and all thanks to the first owner and his wife that kept it as new.

I say the seller got alot of call's about it at ?5000  Grin
