Hi All
The 2 litre engine I just got last week came with electronic ignition bits  Smiley
Is there any reason why it wouldn`t work on my 1.6 engine ? Just want to try it out as it will take me a while rebuilding
the 2 litre one  Wink and also where in the engine bay would it be fitted so it looks "original"  Grin
Thanks

depends what system you've got,  magneti marrelli (most common ) is a direct swop of the coil and distributor, same electrical feed and 1 cable joining them.
the bosch sytem is a little more complex, the extra "bits" fit to the inner wing next to the coil.
i have succesfully fitted a 131 system to a 1600 strada engine so i could bin the useless rubbish digiplex system. if digiplex is what you have, i suggest you do the same, bin it.
