Title: my 131 engine Post by: sid131 on June 28, 2008, 06:54:23 PM working on my 131 sport today i noticed lancia cast into the exhaust mainfold also lancia is on the cam boxes is mine a lancia engine? how do i find out? where is the engine number? it has delorto twin 40 carbs, anyone help.
Title: Re: my 131 engine Post by: mirafioriman on June 28, 2008, 07:40:19 PM Most probably is a Lancia engine, someone could have fitted Lancia cam covers, but it is unlikely that anyone would have fitted a Lancia manifold. Fiat twin cams have plain cam covers. The engine type number is cast into the block near the engine mounts. Can't remember which side though :-\
