anyone got any idea about diff ratio on a 1600cl? seems to be a long one, quite sluggish acceleration, but does 80km/h in second no problem! did they ever make a limited slip diff for a 131 except abarth? and is there a 131 with rear disc brakes?

There are not much with LSD very rear and if you have problems is hard to get parts. In the forum you can find some help like people made some modifications to make it LSD. You can use an Ford English Diff or Atlas Diff but you need to cut the fiat and ford diff and make one from it. You can also make total change like use BMW or use Lancia Integral diff but for this you need more work but its better because you will have all the car indipendent suspentions and control. If you need more help just write and we try to help you as much as possible.

Some of the 132s had LSD and discs, the GLS I think, they can be fitted without to much modification. The control arm mounting points need to be changed, a longer handbrake cable I think and maybe shorten the tailshaft.

Hi, I think the sport had a 3.9 diff and the super2000 the 3.5.    The 131 drive shafts will fit into a ford mk2 escort diff unit. weld the hole casing onto your fiat tubes, then use the ford LSD and have the prop end changed over.

Remember, if you have any sort of power, the big problem is the Pinion teeth blowing off, so its no good just changing the differential, you need the crown wheel and pinion too.

Rear Discs, get the brackets off a 132 and fit to the 131 driveshafts

   Regards
