i've been fiddling around with my lada past few days, and i've got some ideas concerning my 131. the rear suspension is very simmilar.
i've fitted a lsd and rear anti roll bar and i'm wondering could it be fitted into/onto 131 rear axle?

on some of these pics you can (more or less clearly) see a lada (fiat 124) diff. is it same as on 131?

several questions youre bound to ask me:
yes, russians do make an lsd for lada, there's a 180mil. people there, lots of snow and rwd cars...
rear antiroll bar also. some of them apparently race their ladas
no, i didn't drive it yet, too much snow and summer tyres do not mix well

and here's lada rear axle, one from 132 gls and a 131 one. simmilarities and diferences...

I used to have Lada rear axle with LSD in my FSO Polonez with 2.0l DOHC engine. I have cut all the mounts from lada axle and welded to that diff mounts from FSO polonez. it was all fine but i had to use a bit longer rear part of driveshaft(i am not sure but it could be lada- it was long time ago).

The main problem was not with fitting the diff but the ring and pinion gears did not last any longer than about 3 weeks(i changed them every rally as it simply was destroyed), that is why i have decided to fit the lada LSD into FSO Polonez axle. I had to make new LSD housing, i took all internal parts from Lada LSD and fitted it into a casing that had all external dimensions like FSO Polonez, this required me to use lada driveshafts as the spline was smaller in diameter than FSO. The axles required a bit of modification but nothing too difficult to do. After that change i was able to use 4,55 ring and pinion from FSO Polonez Truck which is widely available in Poland.

If that LSD that you use is a plated one then it is very reliable unit and i used it for many years with almost no problems(once i just had to TIG weld the spline for clutch plates to the gear as the connection broke(looked like some press fit that let go).
