According to the homologation papers the works cars ran 300mm x 20mm front and 252mm x 20mm rear discs, question is, what are these from?

Is that 2.7, wouldn't that have been 5 stud pattern, not 4 x 98 pcd?

that's not a problem, just drill the holes fot studs where you need them. i've fitted vented discs from mk2 ford scorpio (4*108) to a mk1 granada (5*108)

The early calipers where from the Porsche (girling ars) and later cars used AP calipers not the discs.
I use AP four pots as per the later cars with integrale 16 valve discs which are 284mm.

Absolutely, but from what I can make out thus far from the homologation papers they used a 300mm x 20mm disc, the AP Monte  gravel caliper takes a 20mm disc but apparently both gravel and tarmac calipers can only accommodate a max 267mm disc....back to Alan.acs, I hope.

It was me .

Since I have posted this question I have learned a lot.

What is worth noting is that Rover Metro 4 pot calipers apparently can be fitted onto 131 .

Anybody knows if they fitr right in or require modifications ?

What about  the mounting brackets ?

What with historic regulations I need to look toward the AP's and whatever disc. Shame you need something to fit 13" wheels as my Brembo set up will be for sale, which sit behind CD68's, which will also be for sale.

My plan is to get myself a set of CD 68's anyway.

The problem I have is that I have  few sets of nice 13: wheels with different sets of tires.

I was actually planning to get myself the kind of brakes that would fit under 13".

Otherwise what I will do is either sell some of my 13: wheels or use them for my 124 spider.

If the metro works out I will consider it very seriously but I need to now that disks of proper size and measurements will be available both now and in the future.

If posh comes to shove I will go for the 911 RS alu calipers, if the disks problem for these is resolved.

Otherwise I will go for Uno turbo 257 disks in the front and 240 in the back..

But here again is also the problem of the 13: wheels on the front. I am told that some of the 13' wheels will accept the larger Uno brakes.

There is also the possibility that the Willwood 4 pot  calipers made for 124 spider may fit under 13" wheels .

There seems to be several possibilities but so far I do not have any confirmed information as to which one will meet my expectations ( 13" wheels ; proper mounting brackets for 131 steering knuckle and and availability of disks).

it shouldnt be too hard to strengthen the firewall at the master cylinder? mine is stripped & i am making it stronger than original with some gusset brackets but need to be careful as i dont want it to crack the chassis.
