i recieved a e-mail from gmr's website today mr moerenhout has had a heart attack
not sure on how bad,whatever your views on the man he is passionate about what he does i wish him a speedy recovery.

Yes I had the same notification - No news on the seriousness of it. In Auto Italia this month where they feature the Punto Abarth and how Fiat has launched it with Abarth examples from the past (incl the 131) significant mention is made of GMRs organistion - Good recognition of what he has done to promote Abarths and Fiats in general.

I've never met the man but echo Andy's wishes...

Guy Moerenhout was one of the very last Abarth rally racers, supported by Fiat Auto Belgio. He has been the owner of a Car & Tuning Workshop since 1971, and decided in 1997 to let everyone enjoy the benefit of his experience and knowledge about all matter Abarth. Since 2007 he is the proud owner of the 'Abarth Works Museum' in Lier.
