The annual All Ireland Classic Fiat Event has been arranged and it's in a brand new venue for 2012.

Dates: 28th & 29th September

Venue: Taking advantage of some of Ireland's best scenery and touring routes the event is based in Glengariff Co Cork in the Glengariff Eccles Hotel. A dedicated parking area will be reserved for all attendees.

http://eccleshotel.com/

Rates: For 2012 we have our best ever rate of ?50 per person sharing for dinner bed & breakfast with no single supplement for the first 8 bookings on that basis. There is also no requirement to attend both nights - Come for one or both. The Eccles is a 3 star hotel overlooking Bantry Bay.

Weekend Format: The event will be very informal with the emphasis on the social and driving aspects. The driving route on Saturday will either be the Ring of Kerry or the Beara Peninsula which incorporates the infamous Healy Pass. In 2009 this was the scene of a low flying Fiat 127 Sport - The record of 20 feet off the ground is there to be broken.  Wink

How to book: Ring Geraldine or her team on 027 63003. Mention the Classic Fiat event. Any questions please PM me. All Classic Fiats and their owners welcome. Our record of 20 cars attending could easily be broken this year so book early.

Enzo - It's just the time of year to tease Sean about his off roading ambitions.  Wink

This was driving the Healy Pass at our Fiat event in 2009 and there was absolutely zero damage - The grass was very soft.  Cheesy

Looks like a great event.  Cheesy
But these events always clash with major Lancia events in the UK  Embarrassed http://www.lanciamotorclub.co.uk/AGM/agm.htm

It must feel like your marque loyalty is being subconciously tested Theo.  Wink

The last weekend in Sept is quite a popular one for end of season events - It's an attempt to avoid holiday clashes and the onset of Autumnal weather. Smiley

I take it you will be attending the Lancia AGM? It does look like a well organised and structured event. However, any time a hotel can offer the chance of winning an Ipad2 to all bookers ...suggests an expensive event? How much does it cost?  Smiley

Well it certainly ain't cheap!

Package rates

The full weekend includes Friday night dinner, Friday night B&B, the driving tour, the Gala Dinner on
Saturday, Saturday night B&B. The one night package includes the driving tour, the Gala Dinner on
Saturday, Saturday night B&B. NB: Sunday lunch is not included in the standard package ? see below.
All residential bookings will be entered into a draw for a new iPad2. The winner will be drawn at the AGM.

Single-occupancy room for the full weekend package ? 240
Single-occupancy room for the one night package ? 135
Double-occupancy room for the full weekend package ? 315
Double-occupancy room for the one night package ? 175

I haven't booked for the Lancia AGM yet and as I'll be going to the Gamma Consortium AGM and Rally two weeks beforehand (already booked that one http://www.gammaconsortium.com/meetings/events.htm#2012_Rally_and_AGM_-_14-16_September) maybe I shouldn't be going to another Lancia meeting so soon after. What have I done with those Irish Ferries special offers.....  Huh
