It's great to see the support for this event each year - If anyone has any suggestions for activities please let me know. If we have visitors from the UK we could make it a three night event to make it worth the trip.

The first time we went to the Healy Pass was in 2007 at the very first 3MA07. There were 3 Abarths there - here is some video...

and

I think that day on the Healy Pass was the highlight of the event - What a view of the cars in the distance and the sound of the exhausts bouncing off the surrounding mountains....intoxicating! Grin

Hi Kev,

I would love to go, as you know your 131 needs to do a trip to Ireland.

Unfortunatley I have something on at work which I can't get out of, Thursday  27th and Friday 28th. I have had a quick look at ferries however by time I get to Wales and then drive to Cork I think Saturday will nearly over.

It is a shame but maybe another time - got anything planned for next summer Huh

You can relax Phil - I've got my own now. No longer will you wake up at a 3MA and wonder if you will find your keys or a blank cheque! Grin

Yes shame you can't make it although things change - Dates change all the time where I work!

Nothing planned for next year but if a decision isn't made about 3MA13 soon a proposal to have a venue tinged with green could be proposed! Was speaking to Brensports recently and he's just back from a trip to Donegal. It's a vast county with the highest cliffs in Ireland and great empty driving roads.  Smiley

I am very much overdue a trip to Ireland.

If my cousin is in the country, I will try and get over for this event as he would most definitely be participating.

I'm currently using my yellow S as my daily driver  Shocked Cool

Lucky you!
After over 32 years of driving to work this is now my 'daily transport' to work  Embarrassed

So the chance for a long drive to Ireland in the Fiat is looking very inviting...  Wink

I'm sure I've had an email from Irish Ferries claiming ?79 each way. But even their 'standard' prices come in at ?95 each way so still under ?200 for the return journey.  The problem with ferries to Ireland is the crossing times, they are so inconvenient! So it'll mean crossing over to Ireland on Thursday 27th September. If the afternoon crossing is taken then it'll mean an overnight stay somewhere not too far from Rosslare. There's a good and cheap Travelodge in Waterford that I used before.  For the return it could be a late Sunday crossing or better still a Monday crossing so that's 4 nights/5 days in Ireland; just what you wanted Jason  Wink Grin

Just had an update from the hotel - Another 6 rooms are booked making a total of 18....leaving 3 available from our reserved allocation of 21.

If anyone is intending to book still, please can you do so by Friday night (21st) after which point the rooms will be released to the general public. That does not mean that rooms will not be available after Friday - It's just that they might not be.

Looking forward to this and hopefully the weather will be kind.... Smiley
