Actually I saw this car for the first time back in 1987 when it was still in quite good condition! It had the red interior which is very scarce here in Holland. Years later it was standing for sale. I bought it but the time had taken its toll. The interior was worn completely, the doors were rotten en welded a bit together. BUT, the engine was great only a bit leaky!My uncle and his wife went with it for holiday to Denmark and it didn't miss a beat! When I lost a storingplace I sold it to a collegue who intended to restore it. When he found out what was all pleasant about girls the car went to the big Fiat heaven in the sky. Parts, including a perfect interior were sold somewhere. If,if, if....
I still have 2 diesel bonnets in storage while I once intended to put one on my orange car. Till now originality still won but I think it looks at least really nice! |
