What a beaut, talk about matching kit.

This old workhorse was parked in the Silver Flag Hillclimb's service vehicle car park in 2007.

I like the small wheel arch trims, they'd look good on your Volumetrico Albert.

Another great pic Albert - That estate (Familiare) would look great alongside an Abarth in the same colours.

Is that a Maratea Graham? Where did you spot it? I've always thought that a Sport Estate would be a great development for the 131. If I won the lotto I would commission one along the lines of an RS4 Audi.! Grin

Not sure if it was a Maratea as I didn't look inside to see if it had the exec interior, it did have a few extras on the outside...vinyl roof, roof bars, wheels and the arch trims so could have been? Huh

This warm estate was parked in the low level car park at Castell'Arquato (Italy), during the Silver Flag Hillclimb last year.

A Panorama Sport.....now that would get people guessing? Cheesy

 Wink Cheesy
I have an original picture taken back in 1976 from such a Familiare. It was one of the service cars for Markku Alen when he took part in the Tulpen Rally (Tulip Rally). The only Dutch rally a 131 Abarth ever took part. I also have a picture from a 242 in the same colors with lots, lots, lots of tires on the roof Cheesy
Someday i will make a scan of all those pictures and place them here. They're very dear to me as i am a great fan of Markku and lllka.

Anyone noticed that it has the simple mask? I wonder why they didn't made a special one...

Perhaps they did the basic because the rally cars were already expensive enough Wink Cheesy

I think simply it was not their interest, we only see now the difference. They also used something like a 131 special grille in the Abarth and in later ones not the Racing or Maratea ones(after they were damaged before).

It has more to do with homogolation. After 1979 they didn't change the rally cars much. Too much paperwork. That's why they didn't change the looks of the cars.
Talking about grilles. Since 1978 they used bigger lights in the cars. These wide beam lights were not standard and could only be fitted on the inside of the grille because the outer lights needed to be standard.

Mirko,

This is a picture taken in 1976. By that time there was not a 131 diesel yet. And these wheels are just 13" Wink
Do you have a panorama or Familiare yourself?
