We are monitoring the Coronavirus situation very closely and as the situation changes we are taking a view on everything. At the moment we still plan to hold 3ma20 in May. We hold an international event and advice, guidelines and rules from different countries and governments vary substantially. All of us who have reserved rooms at the  WestCord hotel de Veluwe, don't have to pay a deposit until the end of April. We hope that the situation will become clearer before any final commitments and payments are made to the hotel. If the situation does not improve by mid-April or if borders in Europe are still closed, we will have no other option than to cancel or postpone 3ma20.  But as stated we have no plans to do this at the moment as we are over two months away from the event start date. A lot of events, flights, ferries etc are currently suspended, cancelled or postponed until early to mid-April and even Formula-1 expect to start this year's championship in May. We therefore feel there is no need to take action at present but we will keep you all informed. Please check back here regularly for updates.

After very careful consideration and following the advice from many countries, we have sadly taken the decision to cancel 3ma20. The health and safety of our members and of the general public must come first. It is up to all of us to slow the spread of COVID-19. Everyone, including young and healthy people, should avoid large gatherings during this time and so we feel this was the responsible decision to take.  In fact, public gatherings of more than 3 people are currently forbidden in The Netherlands until at least June, so there was no other decision we could have taken.  All hotel bookings for 3ma20 at the WestCord hotel de Veluwe have been cancelled so there’s no need to contact the hotel if you have reserved rooms for 3ma20. The good news is that the WestCord hotel de Veluwe have agreed to be our base in 2021 so all the hard work by our member Albert Brouwer in organising 3ma20 will not go to waste and will be used for 3ma21. We’ll announce exact dates for 3ma21 in due course.
