Teams "Hugo" and "Yellow Special" on the Epsilon ferry to Dublin.

That's the first time I've seen (or noticed) open decks on an Irish Sea ferry.
Doesn't seem to look that big either although I'm sure there's more to it than what's in the photos.

No there wasn't much more to it than that. It was a tiny ferry and smaller than cross-channel ferries. But it got us to Ireland safely so that's what counts I suppose....  Grin

Having returned to Germany on Sunday evening (on a flight that was on schedule Grin) I wish all remaining participants a perfect last day in Ireland - it was good to see you all again and I am very much looking forward to 3MA2015! Special thanks again to Mr. T for letting me ride shotgun in Hugo (most probably the best 131 Racing Sport in the World  Grin) and my very good friend Simon for escorting us to the cute International Kerry Airport (proving again that three cams might do better than four). Attaching a few pictures (the same as on facebook actually). All my best wishes to my friend Heini with sincere hope for a speedy recovery - you were missed, boy!

Here is my contribution as well as a few statistics...I drove 1707 kms on the event costing I think about ?200 in petrol. Every cent was worth it though....In total we had 21 Fiat 131s and even more remarkably had 20 in a convoy on Saturday and again overnight in the Galway hotel. The previous record from 3MA10 (20 in total & 18 together) was therefore broken and it now resides in Ireland - The challenge is to beat that for the next event!  Grin

Special mention must go to Kevin who brought six 131s to the event - Five of them Sports! It was a very social event with the hardcore 3MAers joined by lots of new faces and cars. It was very unfortunate that Heini was taken ill right at the start but he generously lent his car to his friends (Joop and Hermann) to participate in the event.

And 131 congestion on the Healy Pass - Series 1, 2 & 3...and a Sport!  Smiley

And just to prove that the world is indeed shrinking I had a text last week saying that there were 5 131s in Cherbourg boarding the boat for Ireland...and another one this morning telling me that a friend of mine had been doing 120km/h on the M7 to Dublin and that he had been passed by a silver LHD 131 with Dutch plates as if he had been stopped. The driver had a moustache and had a petite blonde beside him!!!  Grin

Glad to let you all know that I/we made it back home Smiley

The car made 3667 Km without any problems. The owner wasn`t as tough as he thought  Roll Eyes

Starting with pain and a wrong diagnosis I only made it up to Dublin... Stopped after doing 1200 Km by heavy pain caused by gallstones I had to stay at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin Cry I really wanted to do this event but sometimes life isn`t always fair...

But now everything is sorted and I want to say THANK YOU for all your messages and phone calls and all the good wishes and offered help Smiley Kiss Cheesy

So come on guys, please post more pics of this event for me and all the others who could not take part at this great event...
