Ciao Michele

It's great to see that you are so organised so early. I intend to attend the event as I can't resist an excuse to visit Italy for car reasons...and especially in a 131. Grin

We normally have 4 days of events for 3MA. Do you have any other suggestions ...? Maybe a scenic drive for those that would like it? Smiley

Sounds good to me but I have a problem with the dates as I need to be back in the UK on Monday 5th (yes, Eurovision starts early on Tuesday 6th May in 2014). Keeping with the tradition of 4 days of 3ma fun, I think what needs to be done is add Thursday 1st May to the proceedings and perhaps visit the Parco Naturale La Mandria where Fiat have a test track and try to get permission to use the test track for a regularity run or some spirited driving. And I'm sure something can be arranged for Friday morning to make it a full day of activities. But unfortunately, with the dates as they are I think my 100% attendance record of 3ma will be broken next year  Cry

Michele, are you organising a hotel deal for accommodation for the longer travelled attendees?

While this meeting and celebration of the 131's 40th anniversary and the 128's 45th anniversary promises to be very good, let's please not call it 3ma or confuse it with the 3ma meeting which will take place about 4 weeks later.

Looks like this meeting was a roaring success and looking at the pics and video I wish I'd been there.

Michele promised two surprises which might have been 2 special and possibly Fiat owned 131s. One looked like a Group 4 Alitalia 131 Abarth with "Alen" on the door! The second kept getting mentioned in the same sentance as "Agnelli" and was a Fiat 131 Supermirafiori Volumetrico Climatazzeta Automatico (there was also an "S" on the badge). It had different upholstery and wheels so may have been a special like Albert's blue car (although not as modified). You've got to love the way the Italians name their cars!!  Smiley Neither had their engines started (on the video at least) and instead were trollied to their dsiplay areas.

The 128s were very special too, especially a Sprint Blue race prepared version that sounded glorious on the Mirafiori test track. There's an engine close up at the Mirafiori village where it looks like an air system feeding each carburretor. I defy any Fiat enthusiast not to have a smile on his face as the car gets the beans on the test track - Such an awesome sound....! It seemed like the 128s got to go faster than the 131s.

Enjoy the video - It's high quality and quite long so set aside some private time to enjoy.

Hello all!

@ Kevin: you're right with everything...
Bernd, Oliver (some of you might remember them from 3ma10), Jan and me enjoyed both days of the meeting very much - and I'm sure everybody else present did the same.
Both "surprise" cars ('Alen' and 'Agnell') are from the Fiat/Lancia collection, extra brought to the event from their storage by truck and none had its engine running (Gp4 at least not even equipped with battery), what to my mind is absolutely right: if you can't drive them afterwards don't let them run just for a few minutes.
But lots of "bonnets up" with the Gp4 and plenty of photo-shooting possible.
- Congrats to the Organization Team for this goody as well as for the rest of the event!!

@ Heini: thx! we'll do our best to do 3ma14 well as well  Wink Grin

@ Theo: Greetings from Alberto who will possibly pay us a visit with his Gamma Coup?
