Hi Simon i forgot about that incident, my sisters bloke has 08 golf gti & the little bstrds did the same to him kicked off the mirror then chucked it at him when he went out to see what the noise was & threathened to come back & burn it & this is in a "nice" part of Dundalk? scumdalk is what i call it

The young daughter of a friend had the mirror kicked off her Renault Clio so nasty things happen to all cars when there are nasty people around  Angry

My 530i had the n/s mirror kicked off it when parked outside my mates house last NYE. Yeah, apparently the cops caught the little git, as he was arrested for a more serious offence and admitted to damaging up to 50 cars in various streets as he walked from the pub to his house.  Angry

It cost me about ?150 to buy a replacement from a scrap dealer and swap the various bit over, cos mine has special glass and was dips to the curb when the car is put into reverse - but the glass would have been more than ?120 alone from BMW as it's photo chromatic - self dips when a plank comes up behind you at night on full beam.

I invoiced the Court for the BMW quoted value of ?550!! But its all academic cos I've not been reimbursed a penny! Roll Eyes

It should be changed to B M W Break my wing mirror  Embarrassed Embarrassed
Punishment should be based on model size -a minium of 16 years I beleive - What model is yours Simon-A 530i I beleive - so 30 years minimum for damage and the i for still under investigation after 30 years !! Wink
These guys should be locked way

Trying to spin a fun aspect to a really annoying 'youth of today' problem
