I would also recommend Mark at IRS for his standard of workmanship - but not if you need it done in a hurry! Wink Cheesy

Mark has carried out virtually all of the work I have had done to my Abarth and Racing as well as doing numerous jobs on Theo's Sport. In fact he currently has Theo's Gamma Coupe in his workshop for "another" resto.

Mark is based near Basildon, Essex, some 100 miles from my home, and whilst he is often slow I have never been able to fault his workmanship, which is why Theo and I continue to use him.? Cool He's a nice bloke too! Wink

Andy, your car doesn't look that bad (from the rear at least! Grin). I assume therefore that the major rot is in the floor and other more difficult to get at places.

Is it just me or does this car have side indicators on the rear quarter where the 2000tc badge normally is?

Hello.
I know a real good A1, 131 restorer but you will have to (PM) me.
Give me some details on what roughly you think it needs and i will pass it on to him and let you know what he thinks.
Also welcome to the site !!

Unbelievable condition for any car off the road for 21years in a lock up.  What is your tip for keeping it that good?

Reg number rings a bell, didn't this have 1800 twin cam with carbs on a straight shot manifold fitted to it and beta alloys? Think it was in Bialbero FTCR photo's at sometime. Avanti tuned.

Need to go through pics and scan them asap.

Hi..
yes it does have the 1800 engine fitted...& the Beta alloys.

Unfortunately, lack of funds prevents getting it back on the road but I will one day. Thanks for the tips of restorers, hopefully in the near future I can seek their help.

& no, sorry, it won't EVER be for sale
