Been aware of this car for a while and it is currently on ebay. Original RHD series 3 Supermirafiori. Attractive colour in my opinion, and a bit less rusty than the orange sport!

This is the car i looked at last november(time waster). He forgot to mention about the oil blowing up around two spark plugs and oil blowing out one exhaust port.It is not even worth 500 sterling. This guy is not genuine,as i have had first hand experince of him.I can only prase the bridge as i cross it.Eugene

that problem with oil around sparkplugs is quite common on fiat's twincam and is no big deal. only requires a set of new gaskets to be solved

Well, what about the oil blowing out the exhaust manifold Huh.It is only one bank it is blowing out.It could be valve guides gone hard, but it could be rings that are cracked.Hard to tell until one takes the head off.Eugene

more likely it's a blown exaust manifold and oil leaking onto it from cambox above.

My gut feeling is,that it is more than what you say.Having seen that car,for me it would be a engine rebuild.I offered him 700UK sterling for the car as it was,and he never got back to me.To be honest 500 sterling is even to much for it .Eugene

I agree that it is overpriced, I am sure if it was priced more realistically it would have sold by now.

don't get me wrong, it's you money. in my experience, the most important thing when buying such a car is the condition of bodywork and interior. mechanical bits can be repaired/replaced. parts are mostly available. gasket set for fiat twincam is around 50e and one can buy it almost anywhere. even whole engine is no problem to find

Very true. Unfortunately this car does need some bodywork Roll Eyes. Could be a good project at the right price though.

you gonna bid for it eugene? i would if it was any closer to me and LHD. 500 seems resonable to me if the car is drivable. sure it needs work, it's to beexpected for that kind of money
