Only a guess. We need someone with a brochure to confirm or deny. I only have four door brochures.

Just been looking at some pictures of a Walter Rohl edition and the steering wheel looks very similar, except it does not have the lettering in white.

I've seen them before and they were not fitted as standard to the WR version. Maybe they are copies of the Abarth..?

The WR had just the standard plastic item as fitted in the Racing. This steering wheel was fitted in an Abarth or is a kind of repro, I will ask a friend if he knows.

There is written on the wheel that"world rally champion 1977",Walter Rohrl was invited Fiat team late 1977,so he became famous after 1978- and 1980 championships winnings.
If it is a steering wheel for the name of him,why only written 1977!!!!!
He gained points for Fiat after 1977.

Yagmur,

People referred to the german action model based on the Racing called "Walter R?hrl"that's why WR version. You are right about R?hrl in the Abarth but tha's for sure not the combination. Maybe this steering wheel was putted in some Abarth Rallycars after the 1977 WRC win?

I personally think that its just a steering wheel thats been engraved & its given me an idea, i got a lovely wheel from Keohes fiat dealership in Newry last year for a song brand new in black & black leather rim smaller diameter than the standard 131 wheel , think it will get "Fiat Racing" engraved on it & maby 2012?? hope its on the road by then??
