Did the 1800 132 have a cam mount dizzy or was it on the block?

Some of them had, I think the ones with P/S or A/C or with both...

I was contemplating looking at a 132 to wreck. Apparently it was previously a rally car, it's got cromadoras on it, yellow Konis and a roll cage. If I had somewhere to put it while I dismantle it I'd have it already! My wife's in the US, she'd die if she saw another Fiat wreck in the drive when she got home.

The 1800 TC Fiat 132 that my father had, it's distributor was mounted on the block. That car is about 36 years old now.

1800's all had the distributor mounted on the block. This was changed when the 2000 versions with injection came out. So, only the two liters I.E. had distributors mounted on the cam.

Could be depending on engine, year or country. Here in Holland all i.e.'s had top mounted distributors. AC versions were rare. Never saw an i.e. with block mounted dizzy.
