Not me but Roger (TOAD)! I believe the pictures above were taken quite a long time ago.
I think he must miss the car  Wink
Roger, maybe you should make Simon and offer and buy it back?

Hi Theo,

Apart from the fact that I have no more space at the Inn, I can tell you I stood beside Roo ready to make it into what we now call Little Toad, I couldn't do it, it would have been vandalism, even I have limits.

 Roger...........

I think it's important to remember that even when I purchased the car from Roger it was always with the intention of it being my spares car for trim bits for my Abarth and a spare drive train for my orange Special. It certainly wasn't road legal and the paint was as flat as a pancake even back then - 2005 if I remember correctly. I literally dragged the car the 80 or so miles from Roger's to mine, behind my mate's Renault Espace.

So, having been sat outside for 6 years in all weathers it's returned to nature quite a lot I'm sorry to say, but that shiney paint was covering thick layers of filler and the rot was terminal long before Roger owned it too.

I did drive it the two miles from my old house to where I live now however, back in June 2007, which is the last time this particular car will be driven. The rot is now well past the point of no return, but to be fair, it was never a long term survival specimen. The doors have been bodged, as had the front windscreen scuttle and even the bonnet hinges have collapsed now.  Cry

I think that the rear off side suspension has rotted through too hence the fact it looks like there's weight in the back - unfortunately there isn't. Undecided

I'm sure that all the mechanical bits are sound, but the floor, rear arches and doors will need extensive repair. Anything is repairable if you have enough time and money.
