Title: A902 OYD - Where is it now...?
Post by: kev131 on January 20, 2008, 09:31:15 PM
This car was owned by an enthusaist - Anyone with more than 1 Mirafiori is definitely an enthusiast in my book and the owner of this car also owned ODG 755W - See other thread. - Location,... somewhere in deepest Zomerzet!

The car did not appear to be running but is notable for the rarish copper colour as featured in series 3 brochures (Non UK versions)

Seeing a metallic brown one brings back very fond memories :-\ My brother purchased a brown Super series 3 from a guy in Reading back in about 1989 - PBL 712 X, one of the first series 3 in this country.

He later PX'd it for 128 SL Coupe fitted with a 1500 X1/9 engine in, with our mate Pete Sands, who later sold it on to me. After a few months, in late 1993, I sold it on to a guy called Alistair Nichol, a South African, who later took it to Scotland when he moved there in 1994.

Went like stink when I'd fitted the carb from my old black Sport JPD 969V.... :'( :'( :'( Not a spot of rust on it either, and it only had 65k miles on it when I sold it.

Ah, the memories.....the painful memories :'( :'(
