Miro once the shell is bolted up & adjusted to the centre of gravity the car spins no problem with one hand, its fully adjustable & i doubt if you could make it for the price.

That is a very good price. I have the steel ready to build one (started but not finished yet) and it is easily going to be more expensive.

in my part of the world i could get it fabricated for 1/2 that price. for 220 it could be made of stainless steel.

Djape can you send me a price for one of these jigs as it must be able to take 2400kg and fit an 6.5m long car..

frankly, i can't see more than 50e worth of box sections, nuts and bolts in that jig. taking into account that labor is cheap in my part of the world, i believe that it can be done for much less than 220 gbp. i've found some blueprints on the net so i'll scout for possibilities to make it during next week.
weight should be no issue, perhaps 2200kg would require a bit thicker box sections. also, lenght of the car is irrelevant since front and rear rotating jig aren't connected.
