For sale: orange 131 Racing project. Car did 86000kms and registered in Belgium. Drove last in 2009, then went to a new owner who wanted to convert the car to a replica. He bought all the stuff from our well known polish seller and started at the frontside. The frontwings, grille and bumpers came off, he emptied out the enginebay, made the innerwing on the right side white, putted the frontwings and......................came to the conclusion that this was one bridge(or2)2 much for him. He looked at the modifications he had to do at the rear and by then he was really finished. With this "luck" the car survived in that condition and I came accross it. Bodywise the car is very good, the underside in good solid order as is the enginebay of course. The enginebay is almost ready for a respray. THe interior is very good, except(standard story) the sagging headlining. The engine and gearbox are out of the car but should be also in good condition. I had good contact with the seller and I believe him for sure in that. The right door has a few little spots, the left door is worse, but I have a solid empty door with the car. On the pictures I only putted frontwings on. Wheels are the Abarth 4 spokes in need of restoration, I can deliver the car also on good Campagnolo's. All parts are of course with the car. Feel free to ask every question, bidders and trade in welcome.

The frontpart of the sills is cutted to mount the Abarth style wings. Luckily this is only the loose frontpart which is possible to repair easy.

True Mike, this is a super basis for a fantastic car, most projects are in much worse condition

that would be something for me!  ;D

Christopher, that could be true, but for the moment this is the last Racing I have for sale. But you know my eyes are open :)

Due to too many smaller projects at the moment this great project will stay at least for a while unless another fan wanna take it over. So when you are looking for one for an acceptable price PM me.

I assume you still own your Orange 131 that you have had since Sept 1990.

Could you post some pictures of your Peugeot 604. I remember looking at these (Nearly New) with my Dad in the late 1970's.

Rob,  I oversaw your message so answer it now. I still own DF-77-YF, my Racing which I own since 1990, that one I keep for sure, I think to refresh it a bit this or next year although she's in pretty good shape.

The Project 131 is definitely not for me; I simply don't have the time or skills required to restore it.

The 604 is a great looking car with real character and appeal. However, I only have a single garage and we all know what I would like to put in there  ;) ;) When all the 'moving back to the UK' boxes  :-\ are finally sorted.

It is good to see that you have kept your Orange Sport, bought in 1990. I bought mine in October 1990. However I sold it in June 1991  :-\

Albert I have not seen a 604 in years :o

We have had many holidays over the last 10 years in different regions of France.

Being interested in old cars (and there are many in Rural France), I am always on the look out for old cars and often take pictures.

In all of these visits, I have never seen a Peugeot 604. A good friend of mine cycled in 2009 from Bristol to Barcelona. During his long cycle through France he saw only 1 604.

I did see a 604 in Abu Dhabi a few years back.

Albert - Hang on to it. It's a great piece of motoring history.

The 604 is not my type of car, I traded it in but this one needs some TLC and I prefer driving the Alfa Sei turbo diesel, although the 604 is very comfortable. It is a great project for someone who understand those cars.............and it is not expensive as I am really willing to sell :)

Another up for this project. I got a lot of mail about this car but still not the buyer. Who is interested here in a very good basis for restoration and build up? Far better as most projects on offer. Send PM for details
