So another 131 sport appears. Its amazing how many keep cropping up. Looks a doable project although it does need a lot of work. Seats and stuff missing does not help either! Will be interesting to see what it makes.

I think the car is rusted completely when you start to have a closer look. I had a parts car way back in 1990. It looked better as this example and the empty shell broke in 2 parts while bringing to the holy Fiat sky!
I like the text "good interior"but seats and panels missing.

It's a very brave person who take's this restoration on. The A-pillars have rusted right through Shocked

Looks like there's lots of the external black plastic trim missing too, which is extremely difficult to find.

Good luck to whoever buys this one.

well if the 131 sport is making over 10k euro in europe buy this rare right hand drive genuine sport & by god you would have some car if 10k was spent on restoring it, check out that 2 door in finland elsewhere on the forum & see what can be done with a rotten car.

I would echo Simon's comments on this car. A full Sport interior will not be easy or cheap to source and even more difficult and possibly expensive to get will be all the missing exterior trim. This could turn out to be a very expensive headache of a project.

Its OK saying that sports in Europe are fetching 10,000 Euro, but these cars are usually not rotten ones which have been restored. Its very hard to restore a car to true factory standard. Also a thing to bear in mind is that prices can go down as well as up. Remember how in the 1980s and early 1990s cars like the E Type Jag were making ?30,000+? Then the prices crashed and have never rose again to these levels!

David if that car was in the right hands it would be better than it left the factory, my car will be better that when it left Fiat, but i have many years experience with this type of work so i am lucky but it can be done, there is a small family bodyshop not too far from me & you should have seen the corolla AE86 that was left there last year my god!! that 131 is new compared & its out now better than new, so in the right hands it would be a great 131 sport once again.

It would appear that they are. On another website they refer to it as 'scene tax' (something the 4 door version does not appear to have at present!)
