Mirafiori Malin to Mizen 2014 (MMTM2014)

Fiat 131 Mirafiori 40th Anniversary run 2014 form Malin to Mizen.

This will be a charity event.

From the top of Ireland to the bottom, Malin Head Donegal to Mizen Head Cork over two to three days.

The run will be in July or August 2014. I know it is two years away but I want to give everyone time to have their 131 Mirafiori?s at this event. I want to get the entire 131 Mirafiori owners together for this event, I know of a few 131 projects that will be ready for the road in the next year or two.

Everyone is welcome, I would like if everyone could do the run from start to finish.
I don't want to offend anyone with any other Fiat or cars, but this is a 131 Mirafiori event and all the 131?s will be together at all times.

I hope that everyone will come on board and help raise lots of money for charity.

Sounds like a great event for 131 owners. It's a route taken by the Mini fans quite regularly... amongst others.  Smiley

It is definitely worth recognising the 40th anniversary.  Wink

I was up at Malin today in blazing sunshine. It was my first time here and it is simply breath taking. The pictures above just don't do it justice.

For anyone coming from abroad who has not been to Ireland before you are in for a treat. The Inishowen peninsula (of which Malin is the most Northerly point) covers over 800 square Kms and probably merits a days touring in itself. Lovely driving roads and you get views of Northern Ireland AND Scotland. I've seen some potential hotels and a scenic lunch spot if that helps the planning Chris.

As it is so spectacular it might even be worth considering doing it in reverse ie Mizen to Malin and keep the best to last. Smiley

This sounds amazing. I did a similar run for charity in Talbot Sambas with the ALMC Motor Club in the early 80's. If you get the weather it is a stunning drive.
