Well lets try this year to park together (not in the paddock) but a stand somewhere under the planes out the back, if anyone has the ear of the organiser Roll Eyes

Not sure that any of us do actually have the ear of the organiser Ja, and often there aren't enough 131s to get a gathering, but lets see what we can do. Wink

I hope to be there to fly the flag for the 3MA and this forum and I take it so will you, so at least there'll be two of us there in 131s this year Cool I think that Theo has already said that he has to be somewhere else that weekend hasn't he? Cry

That should be three 131 then with Andy's car, so we should be able to a Group Photo at some point during the day Wink

Going to collect the Abarth from IRS in Basildon this morning, so I just hope that Mark has finished it Roll Eyes He says he has but he's only had the car a week which is no time at all for him. The last MoT he had it for 6 weeks, and the time before that 6 months Shocked but he did end up doing a 'little bit' more than just the MoT Grin

Also looks like Graham will be there in the Volumetrico too, so that makes four 131s. Just need to make sure we get together for 5 mins for a group photo Grin

Really sorry to hear of your bad luck Ja.  Cry I hope you get it sorted soon and have her back on the road.

Unfortunately for you you missed a cracking day today. Sunshine and the most people I think I've every seen at an Auto Italia Shocked even Chris Evans and his missus in a couple of rather expensive Ferraris Roll Eyes

Three 131s made it - my Abarth, Graham Franklin's Volumtrico and Andy Cobb's Abarth Rep., all with accompanying crews of course Grin

Will post a few pics tomorrow.

Jay mate it must've been your trip to Bristol, sorry to hear you had trouble? Sad

What a cracking day it was at Brooklands, plenty of sun for everyone and so many people, I spoke to Phil Ward and he said it was the highest attendance ever for A.I. Brooklands.

The boss of Abarth UK was there (Ivan) and is a top bloke. Si and me were chatting with him for ages, made a pleasant change to have someone in charge of the marque who actually is an ethusiast? Smiley.

I think Andy didn't park up with the Abarths because there wasn't any room left, likewise there were no 130TCs parked at Abarth either, they were with the large number of cars up on the banking.

The new Abarth stuff was well tested (statically) by us, whens your ARBARFF test drive then Si?.... never mind you could have been 'Sir' Evans car courier, being as 'Sir' didn't want to dirty his hands driving through the unclean public area......oh do me a favour...... what is it with these celebs? Roll Eyes

I hope the weather and turnout is as good? for all the A.I. events this year Wink

apart from this we had a great day

ps i must get to talk to graham

my boy had the camera not sure if he was trying to get simons car or neets legs
