What do you want us to tell Steve? Cool

We are now almost certain that 3MA11 will be in South West England. There are several reasons for this but starting with the most obvious -

1) It's closer to where Theo and I live and therefore easier (and cheaper) for us to carry out any potential recce.

2) Kev lived in St Austell, Cornwall for a few years (and I believe Jacquie his lovely wife is from that part of the World too) so hopefully they know some good drives.

3) The English Riviera (i.e Paignton, Brixham, Dartmouth, etc in Devon) is right on the door step, and is well known to me in particular.

4) Hopefully the high density of local hotels and guest houses will increase our chances of finding a suitable place for the 3MA 'gang' to stay.

5) The weather in the south west of England is well known for being better than most other parts of the country, so hopefully we'll see the sun again!  Wink

Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear Steve.

Dates are still to be decided and infact we are actively discussing at the moment.

Cheers for now Cool

Sure maybe it could be held in Eire again as it is the biggest 131 country in the world  Grin Grin as lets face it we have possibly the highest 131, 131sport and 131 abarth ownership per capita in the world  Shocked Shocked Shocked

I think it would be difficult to challenge that statement Dave - I've lost count of all the roadworthy 131s here but it is upwards of 30 that I know of.

I wouldn't be surprised if a future 3MA was held here but I think we have a few other new places to try first.

Finland and Poland have been mentioned although for attendees from the UK & Ireland they would be some journeys!

Brittany is one of my favourites after Cornwall and sure don't we have GKMR10 to enjoy a line up of 131s again..? Wink

Steve,

We did 3MA 'Eire' back in 2007, it has the honour of being the first ever location for the 3MA, and the Gerry Kennedy Memorial Run is put on in Eire every year, so I'm affraid that 3MA won't be returning there for sometime, not least because there are so many other places in Europe (and the whole World come to that Cheesy) that we can visit in our 131s we don't need to visit the same place twice in succession. Wink

However, that's not to say that 3MA attendees and their cars won't be going back to the Emerald Isle. Wink

Well Parrish I have fond memories of the dad overtaking a mk2 escort that was competing in the rally with his 127 sport on full song.... the days of open stages were the best days of rallying in Eire.
