Not unless he's removed the rear louvre and spoiler, changed wheels and has different rego plates.

I agree with Albert. Terrible pictures. However, i see the car is in very good condition. The rear is awfull. Why would one do such a thing?

I think a rear louvre would look nice on it ;D to go with the other period car accessories :)

Don't know this car Mark, but She ain't Sid's car ... He will never sell his one ..
Seriously if you owned a sport like Sid's would you ever sell it... ;D

IMHO the modifications to the rear of car are most unappealing.

Moreover whilst I appreciate that the supply of these cars is 'limited' to say the least, the price is very optimistic.

I could see this one lying about on various sales sites for a number of months.

Im busy with work just now and have been the last few months so im not getting the chance to get on often.
I cand belive some of you guys dont remember this one. It was for sale about 2/3 years ago when Sheamus sold his Orange Sport and there were about 3 Sports for sale at the time and it was the first time they were hitting the 10 grand mark.
There was a thread on this very same Grey UK sport on here at the time with pictures that were taken outside the guys garage. It was also on ebay it took quie a while to sell but i think I heard it went for 9 grand at the time but im sure it was a private sale.
It had the same wheels back then too.

I have just read the add on C.A.C and either the guy that was selling it 2/3 years ago never ended up selling it afer all and has decided to put it up for sale again.
As this seller seems to be  making out he has done all the work recently and the add almost reads word for word the same as it did back then listing all the work that had been done as i remember it clearly.

I know the Racing you are thinking off but it's not this one, it was on a W or X reg I have a photo of it somewhere will post it later :)

I went to see that car a few years before I bought mine. I didn't recognise the number plate when it was posted for sale here.

The seller (in London) said that I was not the first viewer and that a certain Greek gentleman had been there before me!  :)

I seem to remember it being bought from Manchester (or thereabouts) and it came to Ireland - Could have been Nick that bought it from memory but I could be wrong.

c.a.c131 my mistake ! I was sure it was that grey one it looks just the same with the same wheels also the add sounds almost exactly like it did on the car i was thinking off.
I do remember seeing that blue sport too.

Any RHD 131 Racing rebuild to a high stranded will command this kind of money now. The price of body panels for a 131 Racing now, welding to get rid of the rot & paint, and the cost of a full engine rebuild ????.  If you can?t do this kind of work on a 131 Racing ?16000 would not last to long ;D

c.a.c131 I agree that if you cant do most of the work yourself costs will spiral out of control. I dont know to what standard the restoration work on this 131 was done so i have to be carefull what i say but for example.
My point is that if I was paying 16K I would expect NOS rear 1/4 panels fitted not wheel arch repair sections welded in, but thats just me.

There was a Met Blue 2 door 1300 131 that was ""changed"" into a Sport and a few years younger than the original 1300 that was around Birmingham in the early 1990's. I'm not sure but I think the 1300 was an S or T reg and the car ended up as either a V or Y reg

But the last time I saw it, it had the mk 1 rear lights and a fog light screwed to the rear bumper to ""conform"" to the later regulations.

Looked very similar to the blue one pictured but it may not be
