Have spoken to vendor sadly out of my price range, hope it goes to a good home though......wished it could have been mine.

Well, good luck to the seller if they want that much. Perhaps there is someone in Ireland who is interested, based on previous experience I think they will find it hard to get that much in the UK.

I'd have to agree with Dave on this one. That money is far too much for a car that doesn't appear to have been particularly loved.  Undecided Not exactly the best colour IMHO.

Incidentally, as you correctly point out Ian, it is a 1976-7 (R-reg) model and not a 1974. I have two R-reg 1600 Specials (see in the Showroom section of this site) and they are both August 1976.
