Just had a call from the new owners.

The car is on a trailer in Blackburn as we speak and covered up against the elements in preparation for the trip home to Killarney.

Early comments are that the body is in unbelievable condition. The body was sealed before painting but will be rust proofed again before assembly. New body parts (all Fiat) include both wings, doors, rear Qs, rear panel, boot lid & bonnet. A mint interior and boxes of unused parts. A real find.

I hope to get to see the car in the metal at the weekend so photos to follow.? Wink

hi, as you have heard kev the boys have told you how good the shell is, wait untilyou actually see it, there is not a better shell anywhere. it has had everything, from the sandblasting rebuilding with genuine fiat panels to the 3 stage rustproofing and the fantastic paint job done all over the car, top and underneath. when i got the car home i did nt want it to go but seeing as the boys were in england i had to let it go. if i had brought the car home before i sold it it would not have been sold!!!! hope to see piccys when its done. ( p s er indoors happy with the cheque!!!!!!) Grin

Nigel,to see the car going away, must have been heartbreaking for you. What you had to do,i don't think i could do it,especially as you had so much work put into the car.
As regards to your missus, does she reliase the amount of work you have put into the car Roll Eyes.
Best regards Nigel         Eugene

hi.the car is now in killarney, tucked up nicely in its new home and it looks even better in daylight, all it needs is to reassemble it and we are on the road,i truly understand nigels comments as the ammount of work, time dedication, and money and a passion for this car that nigel has put into the 131 shows a man who really has a strong passion for this car, nigel thank you for your hospitality, and i am sure we will meet again.
