That car used toi live in Dundalk,  wasnt in bad condition last time i saw it & now it has a realistic price, half of the previous one! but the guy i know must have sold it cos not his name on the ad & its in westmeath.

Yes.... but not for this car - I drove it sometime in 2003/4 and it was not the best 131 driving experience. It was too soft and the 3 speed auto gearbox was not to my liking - Too slow to respond and robbing the engine of power.

I saw it again at the Terenure show in 2008 and it was developing corrosion in few places - I agree it is rare and nice to be an Irish survivor but I dont think I would ever drive it... if I owned it  

However I do believe that Pres Hillery was a true Fiat man. He used to have a holiday home in Spanish Point (Co Clare) and I can remember our family being parked in our 132 next to his blue 130 Berlina in the car park looking out over the stormy Atlantic, in the car park there.
