request for some parts by some forum members has made me dig tru my stock of parts. i decided to sell some of them.

so here it goes:

several sets of 4 pistons for fiat twincam.
all the same.
84mm, standard size.
with piston rings and pins already installed.
domed pistons as installed in 1800 engines for 132 1800 and 124 coupe.
on some boxes they're marked as 132 gls 1600 and on some as 132 2000 but they're all identical.
can be fitted to any fiat twincam with 84mm bore, therefore they also fit 131 2000 engine. yes, i know that standard 131/132 2000 pistons are flat on top but i've installed these in all fiat twincams i've worked on so far with no other effect except for couple more HP and a bit higher compression ratio of around 10:1. anyways, they'll suit your 131 sport just fine.

price 200e for set of four or best offer. parts exchange welcome.

pistons are new from old stock meaning that boxes are damaged after 30 years in diferent warehouses. otherwise they're in excellent condition. with pins and piston rings installed, as on pictures. compression ratio with these pistons should be around 10:1

also have a set of these for sale, used but in excellent condition. forged pistons for compression ratio of around 11:1 - half price - 100e for set of 4

shipping to malta can be no more than 50euro, probably a bit less.

Are these for standard bore or oversize?

these high compression pistons seem to generate quite a lot of interest although used, according to p.m.
perhaps i could make an auction?
nah, just kidding.

a bit more info on pistons:
new pistons are with 5mm dome
used ones are with 9mm dome.

i can get a couple more sets of these used big dome pistons if there's more interest. not sure about the price though. i have these for around 10 years and back then they weren't cheap.

be advised: high compression pistons mean that your piston rings will not last long. also, head gaskets tend to blow as soon as you floor it.
from my experience 5mm dome is about as high as you can go for long lasting engine. even than, head bolts need to be tightened to about 10% more force than factory recomended.
with 9mm dome and 11:1 compression ratio you need to use a croma or thema turbo head gasket which needs minor modification to fit 124/131/132 engine

They look the same like the ones used in Ritmo (Brava) 105 TC engines. Could these be the same?

Me neither, but I was told that of the three fastest Ritmo's (105, 125, 130) the 105 TC was the only engine with these kind of pistons. This one was 1600 whilst the others had a 2000 engine.
