Hi all,

I have recently acquired a rhd Series 1, 4 door shell. Due to other commitments I cannot restore this so am going to let it go. It needs work but is not a complete basket case. The inner sills appear solid as do the rear wheel arches in the boot and the rear door shuts. The outer sills also appear to be in good condition. The windscreen scuttle has gone so presume the lower one may have also suffered. The drivers a post is bad but repairable with Yagmurs parts. The roof needs work also but doesn't appear, at first glance to require replacement.

There is little in the way of trim that comes with the car, it's pretty much a shell although the front cross member and rear axle are on the car so it rolls. It's an import and am currently unable to locate keys or documents.

If I didn't have my other project I would be keeping this for myself as it appears to need a lot less in the way of welding !!!.

Please pm with offers. I can't get to the car on a regular basis but if someone wants further pics please let me know and I'll see what I can do. Apologies for the quality

Please see pictures below..

Seriously, nobody want this Huh, yeah it's pretty much a shell but a good base for a re-shelling of a really rotten 131. I don't want a fortune for it, just someone bloody save it !!!.

I might Kev yeah, was hoping that someone here would take it first though to be honest. From what I have seen, albeit briefly, it is in pretty good nick.

Got the shell delivered at the weekend and it's in better condition than I previously thought Grin.

The floor doesn't look like it's been welded or needs any welding, inner sills are all good, the boot floor is pretty good as well ( especially where it meets the rear panel ). The boot wells also seem pretty solid.

The wing tops are in pretty good shape as are the front inner wings behind the wheels and in the engine bay. Front chassis legs are in good nick apart from a small section under the servo.

The doors are also in good condition and have all got, mostly intact, trim.

Am hopefully going to remove the front wings to check under the scuttle corners and take some more detailed pictures at the weekend.

Please someone make me an offer, I really don't have the time to do the repairs necessary and I need the space.

hi guys,
someone in the UK or IRL should keep that 131. RHD are scarce, one day someone will need this body to save a sports / racing. or rebuild a RHD Abarth.
gentlemen who are driving on the right, please, think about saving this 131 Wink

Some better pics here. Clearly the floor does need attention but not in all areas. Inner wings to front panel very solid, as is the front panel. Boot floor very good, boot wells need a little attention. Front inner wings near scuttle very good as are the tops. Doors are exceptionally solid, looks like they've been treated as some point. Passengers A post and scuttle corner is clearly the worst but the main bulkhead scuttle looks to be ok.

A lot of what you can see in the creases is dirt not rust.

That's a shame in many ways Mick, but at least it will live again in an RSD replica. They have the resources and money to get it looking beautiful - and obviously enough customers to pay the near ?120k asking price for their wonderful machines. Cool I only wish I was one of them. Undecided
