Re-listed tonight on ebay. Now we can all add it to our watch list and see what it makes. Must be annoying for the seller as it was close to ending when it was withdrawn. It was making good money too!

Yeah, I saw that too Dave.

Interesting to see what it finally reaches, but I'm sure we'll be surprised as anything with a 2000 Twin Cam seems to reach astonishing money these days.

Sold for ?665. I was tempted to bid but managed to resist! Leaves some money to buy some 131 parts I suppose.

I should think that the seller is kicking himself as I'm sure the price was already at ?690 when it had to be pulled for the listing problem. Undecided

Seems fairly cheap nonetheless, especially when a poor, unroadworthy 131 2000TC Super can make around ?600. I suppose it goes to prove that the Argenta is still an unloved model Cry Undecided

Finding parts (body) is really difficult. The seller mentioned about the doors (been Flakey is the term he used I think) on the inside. If it is corroded them finding replacements could be really hard/expensive. It also needed a bonnet (I have one it was imported for me by Ricambio from Italy and cost over ?200). My problem is if I bought it, I could not just use it as it is, I would have ended up spending loads on it!

Looks like the buyer got cold feet very early on - From his comments about wanting to add twin carbs for some fun sounds like he wanted to thrash it to within an inch of it's life..? Huh

Hope it gets a more sympathetic buyer this time but it wont get its ?800 asking price.

Made ?505 (Reserve not met). A bad time to end an auction though, first thing in the morning. Many people (like me) will have missed the end of the auction. Listing it as a 132 does not help either, some people who would buy an Argenta may have missed it!
