Kev, as has already been said, the series 3 should have cables that run to the rear boot area. To my knowledge it was only the series 1 that had a roof mounted aerial.

Update on this particularly exciting thread...!? Roll Eyes Grin

Nothing in behind the A pillar so attention shifted back to the rear area. Nothing under the cill cover either so followed Brendan's suggestion and lifted out the back seat....and lo and behold an arial cable in the centre of the car.!! Cheesy

Back to the centre of the underneath of the rear parcel shelf and found a grey cable lurking at the back of all of the petrol supply cables.

Gave a lttle tug and out popped the female end of the cable - Pointing owards the right hand side wing and not exactly as the Fiat handbook states. Must have been a Friday afternoon car and after a particularly heavy pasta lunch!? Wink

Anway, mystery solved in advance of the radio fitting on Saturday - Glad to have done a lot of the sorting out myself before someone else goes tugging here and there with perhaps not as much sympathy towards the condition of the car.? Wink

Thanks to all for the helpful suggestions.? Smiley

The electric aerial should be mounted in the left side so you can fix this thing with the two screws keeping the jack holder
