Title: Alloy head welding wanted Post by: parrish on February 25, 2018, 05:24:57 PM I’m looking for some one who can weld my 124AC Cylinderhead front waterway.
As some of you may know the 124AC head will not fit directly on a 132 block due to the front water way being too large on the cylinder head which impedes on the gasket seal of No:1 cylinder. I have a rebuilt 124AC head. Basic procedure would be to heat to 300 plus degrees, Tig weld (fill) wrap and let cool slowly followed by head skimming which I can get done elsewhere. I have 125B000 head that is going to 84mm. block and we had to weld 4 holes and redrilled in right places. Two small holes at back of the head and one small hole in front and the big front waterway.
