Hi all,

I wonder if rubber seal of the window marked at the picture at 2 door 131 same with 4 door 131 's which also has similar window there.

I need two new rubber seal for these small windows.

The four door cars do not have the little triangular window (quarterlight) as the front doors are smaller and they have just the one opening window.

Which seal do you actually need? The whole 'triangle' rubber that fits all the way round the little window?

Nope serie 1, 4 doors also have small triangle Windows at the front doors. At least I know Tofas 131 first series have these windows. See link

I can easily find that rubber seal for 4 doors but I should be sure that it is same with 2 doors triangle windows

But I never claimed to know anything about the Tofas cars  ;D
The Original Fiat Series 1 4-door cars don't have the triangular window.

When did you take that picture of the pale yellow 131, or is it one you got off the net.

I used to have a metallic Blue 1600 Special 4-door so I suppose I could have used one of the many photos I have of my car but 'picking up' one off the Internet was quicker  ;D

It's a great picture in a typical UK setting.

Is it an N Reg. If so then it must be one of the first.

In fact I cannot remember seeing a round headlight 131 on anything older then a P reg.

It does look like an 'N' reg.

Mine was a 'P' (NMH 114P). 

Looking at this picture, you can see why Simon is such a fan of the S1.

The model towards the end of the S1's (were they the 'S' version) had the Head Rests and 5 Speed Gear Boxes.

Were these on an 'R' and 'S' plates.

Did any left over S1 stock make it on to  'T' plate. I know there are many 'S' plate S2 Cars.

Actually my arthritis of the brain must have got the better of me ...  :-\
I've checked as the registration I quoted didn't sound 'right' and mine was an 'R' (NMH114R)  :-\

PS I still have that Mountney steering wheel on my garage wall. It was first in my 124 Special and then went on to live on Dudley (my silver Sport) for years.  :D It must be nearly 40 years old and it still looks fine. Now both the Mountney steering wheel and Dudley's original Sport wheel are mounted on my garage wall side by side.  ;D

Where was the picture taken and in what year.

I also note the Townsend Thoresen 'GB' Sticker. Another name from the past.

this is 1984 model, old models have triangular windows, up to 1982....

Yagmur here is the dimensions of front door triangular windows of my 2 door 131

505mm x 365mm x 335mm

99% early tofas 131 has same window rubber seals for these triangular windows.

This morning I visited scrap and found several series 1 tofas (sahin) with triangular front window. I took measurements and bottom length of triangle window is about 10 - 15mm longer SHORTER than 2 door fiat 131 triangular window.

Yagmur, direkli 131 sahin ?n kelebek camı bulup karsılastırdım. Ne yazık ?l?? tutmuyor. 131 sahin kelebek camı alt kısımda 10-15mm daha kısa
