We'll start with an early announcement so you've  got time to get your 131's out the barns and finish off those restorations ..

 i think the record of a flock of 131's is 24 on 3ma10 in the  black forest ? lets try and beat that !

I think it was only 18 in Lossburg. Biggest collection was earlier this year on the M2M in Ireland but can't remember how many.

I'm putting Sunday 18th June in my diary.....  ;) ;D

So who is going to this?

I will be going and I have agreed to park next to the Fiat Motor Club stand as they want to boost Fiat numbers (they lost one of their major advertisers because of "not having a big enough presence at car shows"). I think I may be the only one on here who is also a Fiat Motor Club member but I don't see why the 131mirafiori.com "stand" cannot be next to the FMC stand.

Jason, it's up the M1 for me, 80-ish miles and about 1h40m. If I come to Bishops Stortford to meet you it'll make it 120 miles and 2h30m so I'll see you at Stanford Hall around 10:30.

If anyone is still looking for the postcode for Stanford Hall, it's LE17 6DH.

I'm as yet undecided.  :-\ It's 2 hours for me, which isn't the issue, it's the fact that it's all M3 (with roadworks and 50mph limit the entire length I use it), the M25 (past Heathrow and M4) and M1 (which is always trouble!). Will probably decide on Saturday - weather dependant.

Let me know what you decide and if you're going we could meet at Toddington Services after J11 of the M1. Same goes for anyone else travelling north on the M1 and going past Toddington Services  :D

I should be going but looks like I'll be using the Strada as I need to get the Gazebo in and it won't fit in the 131.

SUV will be out on a shake down run, ive just finished rebuilding the front suspension, due to my pitiful inability to keep up in north wales, not before time either, thread coming if anyones interested.

No Strada as it looks like the crank sensor is playing up when it's hot. Managed to fit everything in the Voli so will see everyone tomorrow. There should be 5 131's at least  :)

I was looking forward to seeing the Yellow Special Simon  :( I love those wheels you have on her :)

Sorry Bobby  :-\ Will have to organise something north of London in the coming months so we can all get together - perhaps a cheap weekend break somewhere around Cannock Chase or Peak District or similar. What do you think Theo, Phil, Jason, Andy, Chris.......?

The yellow S is (mechanically) probably the best 131 I've owned in years  8) A bit of a grumble from the rear wheel bearings but after I came home from 3MA in Wales at the end of May I forgot to perform my ritual of disconnecting the battery, but I needn't have worried as she started second turn of the key (after the petrol was pumped back to the engine! ;D).

Bodily she starting to go a bit around the edges, wheel arches mainly, but certainly not terminal, more to do with the thickness of the paint applied in the factory (or serious of lack of it!!)  ::) I think S1 131s were simply shown the spray gun rather than spend any time being shot by it!!! ::)

I'm in a bit of a dilemma at the moment as it's highly likely that I'll be selling her as I have too many cars (8 at last count, 7 of which are taxed, insured and MoT'd) and I'm seriously considering another, more 3MA useable, alternative but I have neither the space nor the additional cash for 9. What to do........? ???

A weekend sounds good to me  ;D

Super day Stanford Hall auto Italia a bit soggy to start up with the Sun came out eventually. Thanks Bob and all his family for the catering department. great to see Wayne in the bright orange Sport out again after a long absence Theo Chris and Bob too

Nice to get back together with people I haven't seen for along time.
Been plagued with personal problems the last few years hence not coming on here or getting out in the car. :-\

Hopefully, things are starting to turn around and the orange one will now be making more ventures out of the garage in future. :)
