What better way to celebrate 35 years since the launch of the Fiat 131 than by getting the 131s to return to their birthplace at the Mirafiori factory. And that's exactly where 14 Fiat 131s went today! For our factory visit we were split into two groups and one went round the factory and saw the assembly lines for the Fiat Punto and Idea, the Lancia Musa and the Alfa Romeo Mito while the other group got to drive their 131s round the factory's test track. After about an hour the two groups swapped over.

Lunch was served for us at the Mirafiori Motor Village where our visit also doubled up as our static display show of our Mirafioris. Our cars attracted a lot of attention from the visiting public and we also got to see all the new cars in the Fiat/Lancia/Alfa range and even spend some money on Fiat merchandise.

Great pictures.

Perhaps (owners willing) an individual picture or pictures of each car and a brief description could be taken to be added to the appropriate section of the website forum. This would help people not on the tour to 'meet' all the cars and their owners. Some of the cars look familiar to me and others do not.
