Yes this is Jean who also came to 3MA07.  Wink

Do you know if Michele (Effe131) and friends from the Italian 131 forum are coming? I think Michele is a doubt - He mentioned something about running for an election around this time..? Huh

Only slightly apprehensive , don't want to get lost and lose you all  or even brake down but i can usually fix anything on my 131 with a bit of wire and a spring
speaking to an alfa  club guy about the 100 anniversary ,near 80 cars going in convoy to italia from here and loads more from the rest of europe .....

Jason, if you weren't slightly apprehensive about taking an old car on a long, trans-continental journey then I'd be surprised. The apprehension is all part of the experience! Grin

Just make sure that the car isn't going to let you down with anything silly. Re-new any belts and pipes that might be getting past their best, then any potential mishap can be fixed by the road or is terminal in any case.

Got European cover with my insurance Jason. Grin Also got 'Personal cover throughout Europe' from Green Flag when I took out the policy back in 1987, which I continue to this day. Wink

I think ?74 is quite good.....would cost you a lot more than that to get you and the car returned to the UK if anything did go wrong. Undecided
