most of them look like this all over the world...
seems that only 132's that are not rotten to the core are in desert countries such as australia and egypt.
this one wes left standing in a marsh since 1999. and even that it was too rotten to pass MOT. i got it free with a condition to remove it from where it was standing. fortunately, i have a good friend with a big truck

believe me, lada's anti corosion protection is exactly the same as on any fiat from 70's and 80's. there's none.
like it or not, lada is a member of fiat family. often treated as an ilegitimate offspring but it's there and noone can deny it.
rustproofing is equally dubious, plastic bits are of better quality than fiat's, not so prone to cracking and bending, chrome parts are much better, their bumpers do not corrode so quickly, engines are worse than most fiats, not all.
lada actually has much better brakes than 131 for example. twin piston calipers in the front and much bigger aluminum drums in the back.
and one more thing: when temperature drops to -15'c only thing that starts in the morning withouth popping up the bonnet is a lada.

the end. gutted and disassembled. everyhing of use taken off. the rusty wreck sold to scrappers for 20e  Grin

would hardly say lada were part of the fiat group ,nice save with the 132 though.
