I always thought the windows regulators were different between 2 and 4 door cars. Must be the length of the wire as I can't see why else they'll be different. I have managed (twice) to change the cable in the regulator of my Silver Sport. I used picture hanging wire from a local frame shop and it proved strong enough. So if your problem is a broken wire then you may be able to change it.

as I know and according to my repairman, 2 door & 4 door window regulators looks some and his only idea is the wire length should be a different.
by the way I have only one window regulator (its wire faulty) and the other one missing.
In North Cyprus it is easy to find body parts if it is not 2 door specific.
