Nice one! There is a fun site you can add your own pictures to a choice of backgrounds. Forget it's name at the moment but I'm sure it will come back to me or someone else on here will tell us.  Grin

They should have used a 131 (prob a Sport) for the show IMHO, as no copper would have been able to afford a Quattro on their salary!

The quattro used is  83-84 model & i watch it to see if there is ever a sport in it, not so so the producers got it wrong here, the streets should be lined with them, at least a couple should be in the show because that was THE car of that time!

The show's makers are Kudos TV and their production facilities are just down the road from my office. Maybe I should go round in the Sport to see if they are interested...

Please excuse my ignorance but can anyone explain what this thread is about..? Huh

I can appreciate a nice picture but the rest of it is gone over my head. God knows what the international 131 community thinks of it...? Grin

Obviously "Ashes to Ashes" is not shown on Irish TV or you don't watch enough TV Kev? Grin

"Ashes to Ashes" is a TV show set in the 80s. It's a sequel to "Life on Mars" which was set in the 70s. The appeal of the shows to us car nuts is that a lot of old cars feature in them. In "Ashes to Ashes" the main character drives around in an Audi Quattro. Have a look at http://www.bbc.co.uk/ashestoashes/ if you want to know more about the show.
