On another thread I previously described some front suspension noises on my Supermirafiori.

I decided that one of the noises (a clonking) is from an aftermarket shock absorber bought new on Ebay for buttons. Consequently I've bought a set of new Fiat 131 Diesel front shocks which I know are favoured for application on the Sport.

I'm wondering should I waste them on the Super or if I was to fit them, could they be too stiff for what is supposed to be a more softly sprung car. Any thoughts?  Smiley

Kevin,

It's not just the absorbers that make the front suspension stiffer on Diesels. That's also the springs. You can easely fit them on your Super. It only makes a little difference.
Perhaps you don't even notice the difference.
