Title: MUO 613R - Where is it now...? Post by: kev131 on December 26, 2007, 01:50:50 PM This was an accidental discovery - I was driving from Ilfracombe to Bristol across North Devon (having been to visit a collection of 131s) and spotted this on the grounds of a small non franchised garage. It was about 1993/4 and the colour and T shaped rear lights caught my attention as I drove by...necessitating a quick U turn and a grab of the camera.? ;)
Unfortunately these kind of experiences are all too rare these days...but we live in hope don't we? - The last time I spoke with Brensports wife she indicated that her spouse was always craning his neck as he drove new roads in the vain hope of seeing a 131 parked up and possibly unloved. I remembered that comment because that's exactly what I do!!? ;D Even in Italy these occasions are getting rarer! Anyway back to the car, from where it was parked (and unlocked) it seemed to be the lowest in the pecking order of all the other cars there and I got the impression that it was a phone call away from the breakers yard. Shame if that was it's fate because it appears almost complete.
