While I seem to know a fair bit about computers, I know absolutely nothing about computer games. Don't understand the fascination and don't play them  Undecided  I am told that there's a very popular and award winning game called "Driver" which is a real-life type game with cops and robbers and car chases with real cars and real car noises. All I can tell you is that the next release of this game, which I am told is due out next November, will include the sounds of my 131  Wink Grin

Yesterday I took a leisurely 180 mile drive up north to  AET Engineering in Normanton (near Wakefield in Yorkshire) where two guys from Media Mill spent some time doing an 8 channel recording of the sounds of my 131. I've been promised some mp3s of the recordings and hopefully I'll receive those in a few days  Grin Grin

Thotos,

Congratulations !

Hope you have a flow through muffler sounding off with minimum 100 dB.  Grin

A short sample of your sound will be interesting to hear !

Theo,
nice one.

Will one of the game's cars be a 131?

While they paid expenses to (just about) cover fuel costs, it's not really an 'earner'. If I could negotiate just 1% of the game's revenue then it would have been a nice earner  Wink

I'll post up some sound files when (if?) I get them. I don't think they'll have a 131 in the game and I wonder to what modern car the sounds will be attributed to. The people who play these games wouldn't have a clue what a 131 is  Huh

There is (or was) I believe a game with a 131 Abarth in it. Some of the students I used to teach actually knew what a 131 was because of this. Like Theo though I have little interest in computer games and don't know what it was Roll Eyes
