He brought it in to show me because he knows I've played with webers for years. He was all excited about it, but basically it was a piece of crap, I wouldn't fit one to my lawn mower. The casting quality was very poor and I've got 30 year old webers with less play in the linkages than his knew one. I sincerely doubt they're manufactured in the US, more than likely spat out in their hundreds from some dodgy factory in China!
